This may be a hoax but even if it is, it’s amusing. A man near Cambridge removed a pond from the garden of his new house and found underneath a bizarre, laminated letter of admonishment from whoever put the pond in originally.

Hey Shane,
Just to confirm, it isn’t a hoax! Simon is still very weirded out by the letter, but amused that it seems to have sparked ideas with everyone around us who does DIY to leave weird messages in unexpected places.
I’m thinking of leaving notes around supermarket shelves for people to find
