Simon Cowell’s pop expertise summed up

Meta: September 10th 2009 // music

Apparently if they’d had Simon Cowell around, The Beatles could have been as famous as Robson and Jerome:

“Speaking to actress and fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, Cowell said that only Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison would have ticked all the boxes. As a result, he admitted, the Fab Four would have failed to get through the early stages in their orginal form.”

Oh, do shut up Simon, the grown-ups are talking.
